  • 1969
    Creation of the SOCRI Group

    Creation of the SOCRI Group by its chairman, Henri Chambon.
    The first chapter of the exciting SFH story began with the creation of a property development company, the SOCRI Group [Société Centrale de Réalisation Immobilière Promotions].

    Loyal in it its business relations and true to its partners, SOCRI and SFH have always called upon renowned Parisian interior designer Patrick Ribes, who has been contributing his expertise in creations and renovations to the company since 1988.

  • 1988
    Opening of La Villa Maillot

    In a building bought by the Socri Group from the Sierra Leone Embassy and after 2 years’ renovation works, the 4-star Villa Maillot, a boutique hotel with 42 rooms, opened its doors.

  • 1991
    Opening of Pullman Montpellier Centre

    Adjacent to the Polygone business district and belonging to the Socri Group since 1975, the Pullman Montpellier Centre, part of the Accor Group franchise, welcomed its first guests in 1991.
    Situated in the heart of Montpellier, this 4-star business and leisure hotel has 88 rooms.

  • 2001
    Acquisition of Le Grand Hôtel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz

    Socri took over the 5-star Grand Hotel from the Royal Monceau Group. The historic seafront hotel overlooks the Bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. It took 2 full years of renovation work to revamp this legendary place and its 52 rooms.

  • 2002
    Creation of SFH

    It was in 2002 that Socri Financière Hôtelière, the hotel branch of the Socri Group, set sail with Henri Chambon at the helm.
    The company adopted the name SFH and the slogan
    "Style - Feeling - Hotels, Creating memories..."

  • 2005
    Opening of Le Mas de Pierre

    The 5-star Mas de Pierre, with its sumptuous setting in the famous hills of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, has 54 rooms and splendid gardens covering 3 hectares.
    It became a member of the Relais & Châteaux collection just one year after opening.

  • 2007
    Le Grand Hôtel is equipped with a spa

    In 2007, Le Grand Hôtel inaugurated one of the most beautiful Thalassotherapy & Spa centres in Europe. Le Grand Hôtel Thalasso & Spa is stunningly situated under vaulted ceilings and opens on to the beach.

  • 2011
    Renovation of Le Pullman Montpellier Centre

    Sixteen years after opening within the Socri Group, the Pullman Montpellier Centre underwent complete renovation based on the theme of Awakening the Senses with absolute comfort and premium service taking centre stage.

  • 2013
    Renovation of La Villa Maillot

    It was the turn of Villa Maillot, acquired by the Socri Group in 1988, to undergo complete renovation.
    The hotel was entirely revamped to provide a chic and cosy ambiance offering the refined elegance and prestige of a Parisian mansion.

  • 2014
    Acquisition of La Villa l’Arche in Bidart

    Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Villa l’Arche has 8 rooms and 3 holiday flats located in 2 quintessentially charming Basque villas set in a clifftop garden.
    Its small capacity ensures guests enjoy a secluded retreat and utter comfort.

  • 2014
    Opening of La Bastide des Fleurs

    The Mas de Pierre was extended by the creation of a new building: the Bastide des Fleurs.
    This high-end luxury complex has 6 new prestigious suites and offers a timelessly elegant setting where classicism and modernity go hand-in-hand in a backdrop of shades of white enhanced by the natural surroundings.

  • 2015
    Reopening of Le Grand Hôtel Thalasso & Spa

    After closing for 15 months during extensive renovation works, Le Grand Hôtel Thalasso & Spa reopened its doors. This historic hotel has been entirely revamped to highlight luxury and modernity in an Art Deco ambiance.

  • 2016
    Opening of La Villa Haussmann

    In December 2016, La Villa Haussmann opened its doors at number 132 of the Boulevard after which it is named. This new hotel, situated right in the centre of the capital, offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a concentrated experience of Paris.

  • 2019
    Opening of La Bastide de Biot

    Away from the buzz of Antibes, La Bastide de Biot is nestled at the foot of the ramparts of Biot.
    Entirely renovated and magnified, this four-star haven of peace with Provençal touches, opened its doors on March 1, 2019.

    La Bastide de Biot is a cocoon of sweetness, both elegant and cosy, where life is good.
